Description
Somewhat lost in the belly of Brussels, at the end of two authentic alleyways, this building accommodates the unique poesjenellen-theatre. José Géal and his son perform puppet theatre-shows in different languages. During the day, but especially before and after the shows, you can enjoy kriek, gueuze, and sandwiches with platte kaas (cream cheese). Toone is an attraction for all kinds of Brussels folk: ‘ketjes’, Flemish people in Brussels, ‘Bruxellois’ and tourists. You will find a warm, casual atmosphere where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the metropolis. By the way, everything’s for sale: postcards, shows on video, authentic puppets and lots of souvenirs.
