Brussels Beer Capital of the world is an initiative of the foundation by the same name: the Brussels Beer Capital foundation. The Brussels Beer Capital foundation has been created with the aim to promote worldwide Belgian beer via internet. It wants to show to the broad public the blossoming variety of pubs, restaurants, hotels and breweries that our capital city offers. Every visitor, tourist, businessman, conference participant, all of them should be introduced to the beer richness of our capital.

The French are known for their wine, the Irish and the Scots for their blends of whisky, we want to promote Belgium as the beer paradise. This initiative is being supported by the Brussels minister of Economy, Benoît Cerexhe. The www.beercapital.be website wants to give a complete overview of all pubs, brasseries, restaurants and hotels in the Brussels capital district that work around beer. The visitor will also find here a list of all Belgian beers and breweries that Belgium has to offer. Again, welcome to Belgium beer country.

The Brussels beer capital of the world foundation is governed by a board comprised of the following members: Sven Gatz (president), Roland Bourgeois (vice-president), Herman Croux, and Prof. Em. Denis De Keukeleire, Jean-François Thayer, Jos Verschueren, Dirk Volckaerts.
The foundation is located at Roodebeeksteenweg 374, 1200 Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe.
